This is where it all started back in 1984. Sound Marketing, Inc. was founded on a singular product line--producing automobile delivery tapes for the auto industry. Within 6 months of our very first sale, Ford Motor Company endorsed the concept to all of its dealers under name "Sound Advice". Other manufacturers quickly followed suit in endorsing this program to their dealers and Winnebago Industries included a tape in every recreational vehicle they built. The driving force at the time was the new concept of "customer satisfaction". The programs were designed to provide the information which would improve response on customer satisfaction surveys from the manufacturer.
Welcome to today's cutting edge "sequel" to delivery tapes -- CDelivery™. Obviously the program is produced in audio CD format, rather than tapes -- but that's only the surface difference. Dealers today know the importance of customer satisfaction and have taken the necessary steps to implement service policies to insure solid ratings. Unfortunately, satisfaction is no longer a value-added concept in the mind of the customer -- THEY EXPECT & DEMAND SATISFACTION! The CDelivery™ Program acknowledges this and concentrates on nurturing relationship development and customer loyalty to the dealership. (At time of delivery the relationship is primarily between the sales person and the customer. Dealers need to move the relationship from the sales person to the dealership.)
As the customer slips the CDelivery™ Disc into the CD player, he first hears a short interview with the dealer principal or managing executive. This is designed to begin building the "dealership relationship factor" in the mind of the customer -- from a personal "thank you" to a review of the dealership's commitment to satisfying all of the customer's automotive needs, wants and desires. From there the program proceeeds into critical information the customer needs to know about dealership operations in all departments and the importance of participating in ownership surveys. The program concludes with answers to some of your customers most frequently asked questions, reinforcement of extended warranty purchases and a request for referrals.
